Forestry Commission Recreating New Forest Stream Meanders Objections to Forestry Commission stream diversion works in New Forest.
As part of their obligations under the Natural England High Level Stewardship Scheme the Forestry Commission are recreating meanders in a number of New Forest Streams in order to maintain these Sites of Special Scientific Interest. This has affected a number of fords on the Latchmore Brook and Avon Water. There have of course been a number of local objections:
